Stress and anxiety can have a negative impact on both your mind and body. Our stress reduction classes are designed to help you relax, reset, and recharge your state of mind.

Exercise and Stress Reduction Class Schedule

Let’s Dance!
Tuesdays, May 7, 14, 21, and 28, 12:45-1:45pm, In-person only
Come rock to the beat with Maria for this exciting new dance class! Together we will learn line dance routines and do low-impact Zumba. Class members can attend one session or attend them all. This class is welcome to all dance skill levels – especially beginners! Click here for more information.

Immerse Yourself In Gardening at the Chattahoochee Nature Center
Thursday, May 16, 1:30–3:00 p.m.

Connect with nature through plants by immersing yourself in gardening with the Chattahoochee Nature Center horticultural staff. This introductory workshop on plants and gardening will give you the chance to be up close and hands-on with both vegetable seedlings and plants that are native to Georgia. We will experience planting seedlings and seeds out in CNC’s Unity Garden in raised beds and in an elevated planter. Each participant will receive simple instructions for easily recreating a planter or container garden at home. Each participant will plant and take home a seedling. Mandalas Workshop

Embark on a transformative journey of self-expression and healing in our Mixed Media Mandala Workshop. Discover the profound symbolism of the circle as a universal representation of wholeness and unity, utilized across cultures and time for its potent impact on the body, mind, and spirit. During out time together, we will engage in a series of exercises designed to deepen your connection to the mandala-making process, tapping into your intuition and inner wisdom. Using various mixed media materials, you will create your own unique mandala artwork, no prior art experience required. Bring you beautiful self and a curious mindset! Wake up with a morning stretch class and to get energized for your day! In this 30-minute class we will perform energy-boosting movements (sitting and standing), focus on proper breathing, and hydration.
