Are your programs for people with all types of cancer?

Yes! Our programs are available to anyone affected by cancer, regardless of your diagnosis or where you are in treatment.


Who leads your programs?

All of our programs are evidence-based, led by licensed and certified professionals who are experts in oncology. Many are doctors and professional staff from Northside Hospital Cancer Institute.


What do you charge for your programs?

All programs are free of charge, along with the parking!


What type of programs do you offer?

We focus on six main areas that promote active living and learning: support, education, nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, and social gatherings.


May I bring a friend or family member?

Yes. Friends, family members, and caregivers are welcome at most programs. We encourage you to bring a support person to your initial New Member Orientation.


What is the New Member Orientation?

Prior to attending our programs, we ask that you attend a New Member Orientation so that we may educate you about all of our offerings and learn about your interests and needs. New Member Orientations are offered at our main Atlanta location on Mondays at 10 AM and at Northside Forsyth Hospital on Thursdays at 12 PM.


Do I have to be a patient at Northside Hospital?

No. Although we are affiliated with Northside Hospital Cancer Institute, anyone is welcome to attend our programs.


Can I attend programs after I have completed my cancer treatment?

Yes. Whether you have just been diagnosed, are in active treatment, or have completed treatment, we encourage you to attend our programs. In fact, many Community members continue to attend programs for years after their treatment has concluded.


Is parking available?

Yes. Free parking is available. In addition, we are conveniently located adjacent to the Medical MARTA station.


Do I need to bring anything to the exercise Or stress reduction classes?

No. We provide all of the necessary equipment.
