Stress and anxiety can have a negative impact on both your mind and body. Our stress reduction classes are designed to help you relax, reset, and recharge your state of mind.

Mind/Body/Breath Retreat

Join Cancer Support Community Atlanta for a Mind/Body/Breath Retreat. During this retreat we will focus on relaxation and rejuvenation. Together we will participate in a gentle yoga class, a guided meditation, and enjoy lunch as a group.

This program is open to participants who are in active treatment as well as survivors. If you have already attended the retreat, please email Lauren at lauren@cscatlanta.org to be placed on the waiting list. Click here for more information.

Cultivating Gratitude: Creating Gratitude Jars

Join us for the Cultivating Gratitude Workshop and make a gratitude jar to use at home or at work. The gratitude jar is an effective, easy, and fun way to practice gratitude by yourself or with others. Join us at CSC Atlanta for this fun and interactive workshop. Bring spring into your home by creating a personalized floral arrangement. All supplies will be provided, and each attendee will create a floral arrangement to take home. Click here for more information.

Immerse Yourself In Gardening at the Chattahoochee Nature Center
Thursday, May 16, 1:30–3:00 p.m.

Connect with nature through plants by immersing yourself in gardening with the Chattahoochee Nature Center horticultural staff. This introductory workshop on plants and gardening will give you the chance to be up close and hands-on with both vegetable seedlings and plants that are native to Georgia. We will experience planting seedlings and seeds out in CNC’s Unity Garden in raised beds and in an elevated planter. Each participant will receive simple instructions for easily recreating a planter or container garden at home. Each participant will plant and take home a seedling. Mandalas Workshop

Embark on a transformative journey of self-expression and healing in our Mixed Media Mandala Workshop. Discover the profound symbolism of the circle as a universal representation of wholeness and unity, utilized across cultures and time for its potent impact on the body, mind, and spirit. During out time together, we will engage in a series of exercises designed to deepen your connection to the mandala-making process, tapping into your intuition and inner wisdom. Using various mixed media materials, you will create your own unique mandala artwork, no prior art experience required. Bring you beautiful self and a curious mindset! Virtual Morning Stretch - Thursdays, 9:00am-9:30am
Led by: Jane Myers, OTR/L
Wake up with a morning stretch class and to get energized for your day! In this 30-minute class we will perform energy-boosting movements (sitting and standing), focus on proper breathing, and hydration.
